"The key is not the will to win. It is the will to prepare to win. That is important"

Win your weekend
You've come to the right place.
Bobby Knight was clearly talking about your road trip when he spoke these beautiful words into existence. You’re in the right place to prepare to win your weekend.
The Manifesto
It’s simple – our manifesto is tried and true, and by following these steps, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.
Step One
Avoid Traveling Home Before 9AM
Whatever you do, avoid traveling home before 9 AM, no matter the temptation of a cheap flight. This is like booking a 6 AM flight out of Vegas, skipping the last night’s hotel room for extra gambling money. We’ve all played that card, but it doesn’t make it a winning hand.
Step Two
Spend on Location
Both seats and hotel. There are places to pinch pennies, but not here. Remember, it’s all about the experience and serendipity of the situations you put yourself in. Being in the action matters.
Step Three
Find Another Event To Complement
Find an event to complement the Main Event. Scour the region for another sporting event, concert, etc to pair with your event. Even national events like March Madness can pair well while bellying up at the bar for some television viewing.
Step Four
Support Local
Grab that local beer, avoid Starbucks, and pick up the local merch. Part of travel is the experience of the local community. P.S. Yuengling doesn’t count as local…
Step Five
Pace Yourself
Don’t go too hard the first night. We get it, we get it. You’re pumped to hang with your crew and probably haven’t seen them in a year. Pace yourself and hydrate.
Step Six
Play Like a Champion
Play for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. You are a representation of your Team, City, and friends. Be respectful of the opposing fanbase and its traditions. When in doubt, be the bigger fan. We’ve all witnessed that insufferable Ohio State fanatic we love to hate.
Step Seven
Ask For Forgiveness
It never hurts to ask for forgiveness later. Sneak down to the empty court side seats. If there’s an unlocked door, it doesn’t hurt to enter. Remember that luck is when preparation meets opportunity. When your feet touch the field, act like you’ve been there before.
