Gameday

The Philadelphia Eagles, founded in 1933, have a storied history that’s been marked by periods of both struggle and triumph. They first tasted championship glory in 1948 and 1949, winning back-to-back NFL titles under coach Greasy Neale. The 1960 championship, led by quarterback Norm Van Brocklin and legendary coach Buck Shaw, cemented their place in NFL history. After years of ups and downs, the arrival of coach Andy Reid and quarterback Donovan McNabb in the late 1990s sparked a new era, culminating in a Super Bowl appearance in 2004. The pinnacle came in 2017 when coach Doug Pederson and backup quarterback Nick Foles led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl victory, cementing an unforgettable legacy.
