The Jacksonville Jaguars were established as an NFL expansion team in 1993 and began playing in 1995. The team quickly found success, making it to the AFC Championship Game in just their second season under head coach Tom Coughlin. The late ’90s saw the Jaguars become a dominant force in the league, with star players like quarterback Mark Brunell and wide receiver Jimmy Smith leading the charge. However, the team struggled to maintain its early success in the 2000s, experiencing several rebuilding phases and coaching changes. Despite the ups and downs, the Jaguars experienced a resurgence in 2017, reaching the AFC Championship Game led by a fierce defense known as “Sacksonville” and standout players like Jalen Ramsey and Calais Campbell.
