Win the Weekend

Heading to Pullman, Washington for a gameday? Dive into our breakdown of what you should do for your upcoming trip.
When you think about Washington State, you most likely think about Ol’ Crimson, the WSU flag that’s made an appearance on ESPN’s “College GameDay” over 200 times. WSU is more than a flag, founded in 1890 it’s home to one of the nation’s top veterinary medicine programs and a hub for agriculture and engineering.

Gameday

Washington State football is a tale of grit, determination, and an air-raid offense that’ll make your head spin. The Cougs have been slingin’ the pigskin since 1894, with legends like Drew Bledsoe and Ryan Leaf making their mark. And who could forget Coach Mike Leach’s wild tactics and memorable post-game interviews?

The Stadium

Stadium History

Welcome to Martin Stadium, the stomping ground of the Cougars, built in 1972. With a seating capacity of just over 32,000, it’s intimate, intense, and insanely loud. It’s seen nail-biting victories and heart-stopping plays, including the “Game of the Century” in 1992 against rival UW in the Apple Cup.
