Win the Weekend

Heading to Fort Worth, Texas for a gameday? Dive into our breakdown of what you should do for your upcoming trip.
Welcome to Texas Christian University, where the Horned Frogs are more than just a quirky mascot. This private research university in Fort Worth has been churning out brainiacs since way back in 1873, and now boasts over 12,000 students. And it’s not just all academics here – TCU’s Division I athletics program will have you screaming your lungs out for those Horned Frogs, who compete in the Big 12 Conference. Fort Worth, where TCU calls home, was once a military post and then became a hotspot for cattle trading back in the day. You know what they say, everything is bigger in Texas, and the city’s stockyards, which opened in 1887, were once the largest in the world. Nowadays, the downtown area has been revamped and the popular Sundance Square is the place to be.

Gameday

TCU did a very unChristian thing stealing Sonny Dykes from metroplex rival SMU in 2022. They were handsomely rewarded with a remarkable season. TCU’s football team has a long and storied history. The Horned Frogs have won three national championships, in 1938, 1939, and 1951. They have also appeared in 25 bowl games, including the 2014 Rose Bowl, the 2015 Peach Bowl, and the 2023 National Championship.

Ticketing 101

Like all sporting events, we encourage you to research your seats on a view from my seat.
If you are looking for a more unique experience, you can try to get tickets to the Frog Alley section, Frog Alley is a standing-room-only section that is known for its rowdy atmosphere. It is a great place to be if you want to be close to the action and be a part of the excitement. The sun sets in the west, so if you want to avoid the sun, sit on the east side of the stadium. The student section is located in the south end zone, so if you want to be near the students, sit there. The band is located in the north end zone, so if you want to be near the band, sit there.

Visitors

The best places to sit for a TCU football game as a visitor are in the visitor’s section, which is located in the north end zone of Amon Carter Stadium. There are plenty of suite options including The Champions Club, Horned Frog Club, The Loge Boxes The South Endzone Club
