The Stadium

Stadium History

LaVell Edwards Stadium, named after the legendary coach, has been the home of the Cougars since 1964. Overlooking the picturesque Wasatch Mountains, this stadium has been the site of numerous thrilling moments. One notable instance was the “Miracle Bowl” in 1980 where BYU came back from a 20-point deficit in the final four minutes to beat SMU. The stadium underwent an extensive renovation in 2019, enhancing the fan experience and reinforcing its reputation as a must-visit venue for college football enthusiasts.
