UH Cougar football has a rich history dating back to its inception in 1946. The program has seen legendary players from Andre Ware and his air raide offense to and Case Keenum, who’ve left indelible marks on the school’s legacy. UH has made consistent appearances in bowl games and even made a Peach Bowl appearance in 2015, trouncing Florida State and proving they’re a force to be reckoned with.

TDECU Stadium, the Cougars’ lair since 2014, is a modern marvel that brings the ‘H-Town Takeover’ to life. It offers stunning views of the downtown Houston skyline and is known for its raucous atmosphere, especially when the “Cage Sway” tradition starts up. The stadium hosted one of the most significant games in UH history in 2016, when the Cougars upset the third-ranked Oklahoma Sooners.
